Cliff Lamb played football at MidAmerica Nazarene University, and his brother Adam Lamb starred at Texas Southern. They sawCeeDee’s potential early and still talk about one of his first jaw-dropping catches when he was just five years old.

Cliff andCeeDee’s mother, Leta Ramirez, divorced when Lamb was nine. During footballseason he sometimes stayed with his Pop Warner coach, Darrick Reed, who immediately recognized the talent. “It was clear from a young age we would be watching him on Saturdays and Sundays,”Reed told OU Daily in 2019.

Cliff celebrated when the Cowboys drafted him in the first round in 2020, telling NBC: “Dallas is my new home. No better place than Jerry World.”

Keon Coleman revealed in 2024 that they are cousins. “Playing with CeeDee Lamb. That would be a dream come true. That’s actually my cousin. That would be great. I worked out with him. He has a very elusive game. I feel like he can do some of the things I can do,”Coleman said.
