Where is Isiah Pacheco? Why Chiefs running back is getting limited work in Week 13

[Kansas City Chiefs](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs) running back Isiah Pacheco made his return from injury in Week 13.

Pacheco had a knee injury that kept him out for the previous three games. He finally logged full practices this week before he was cleared to play.

However, Pacheco is off to a terrible start in the Week 13 game against the [Dallas Cowboys](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/dallas-cowboys) thanks to a very limited workload.

Here's a closer look at what's going on.

Is Isiah Pacheco playing today?

-------------------------------

Yes, Pacheco is active and healthy, but it's pretty clear the Chiefs are limiting his workload in his first game back.

Instead of splitting their backfield touches, the Chiefs are leaning heavily into Kareem Hunt, which is at least somewhat surprising considering he just had 30 carries on Sunday.

Maybe we'll see more of Pacheco in the second half, but it's not looking good for him through two quarters.
