Post Malone honored late Dallas Cowboys defensive star Marshawn Kneeland during his halftime show in the Thanksgiving Day game between the NFC East franchise and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Earlier this month, Kneeland was found dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot. The Cowboys' defensive end was tailed by police, but was found dead hours after they lost him during a traffic pursuit.
Police found Kneeland's crashed vehicle and conducted a search, which ended after three hours once his body was discovered. The tragic news comes just days after he scored a touchdown on Monday Night Football against the Arizona Cardinals.

The story ultimately rocked the NFL and wider sports community. Malone is a huge Cowboys fan and paid tribute to Kneeland as he performed the halftime show during Dallas’ showdown with Kansas City at AT&T Stadium on Thursday.
“We love you, 94. We love you,” Malone yelled out to the crowd as his set concluded, referencing Kneeland’s jersey number. Malone also had a large 94 pin on his jacket to honor the defensive end.
