Post Malone's Halftime Show During Cowboys-Chiefs Game Draws Attention

Post Malone brought the energy to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, during the Dallas Cowboys vs. Kansas City Chiefs Thanksgiving game on Thursday.

Malone's appearance at the Red Kettle Kickoff halftime show not only entertained fans but also supported The Salvation Army's charitable efforts.

The show was a full-circle moment for Malone. His father, Rich Post, worked as the Cowboys' assistant director of food and beverage from 2005 to 2019, which allowed young Malone to spend nights at the stadium.

"It's just beyond something that we could've imagined when he started this musical career," Rich Post told NBC 5 Dallas–Fort Worth. Growing up, the only rule in the family was that Malone had to be a Cowboys fan.

Malone's connection to the team goes beyond fandom. He has attended games at Texas Stadium and AT&T Stadium since childhood and even performed at a Cowboys Christmas party in 2015.

Tonight, the 30-year-old singer performed a medley of hits, including "Wrong Ones" and "I Had Some Help" from his 2024 country album F-1 Trillion, alongside a squad of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders during "Wow."

The NFL's official Instagram captured Malone's performance, posting a clip with the caption, "got em sayin' wow Post Malone," which fans quickly echoed in the comments.

"Better than the last five Super Bowl halftime shows. 🔥," one wrote

Another praised, "Post Malone make halftime great again."

"He should've been SB halftime," a fan reacted.

"Best performer in the world right now," a commenter claimed.

"Amazing performance!" said a follower.

A person said, "Went from rap to country, the greatest culture vulture ever."

Post Malone's Thanksgiving Halftime Performance

Prior to the performance, Malone teased a "Texas big" show in a playful video trailer with the Cowboys' mascot Rowdy. Driving a semi-truck and joking with kicker Brandon Aubrey, Malone set the tone for a high-energy halftime experience.

The medley of songs included his defining track "Wow," during which the Cowboys Cheerleaders joined him, creating a visually striking performance. He rounded out the set with "I Had Some Help," giving fans a taste of his country influences while maintaining his signature style.

With A-list performers like Dolly Parton and Lainey Wilson having graced the Cowboys' Thanksgiving stage in previous years, Malone's energetic set continued the tradition of star-studded halftime entertainment.
