Cowboys owner Jerry Jones could not help himself and was spotted with a turkey leg in one hand and a playoff belief in the other after Dallas defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-28 on Thanksgiving night.
Dallas now stands at 6-5-1 following their win as they try to re-enter the NFC playoff race led by the 8-3 Eagles. Jones, who gained attention during the NFL trade deadline by acquiring All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams from the Jets, has seen his team remain undefeated since making the move.
Williams led the team with six pressures on Patrick Mahomes, recorded four run-stops (the most on the team), had two sacks, and was faced with double teams almost 35 percent of the game. That's all the Cowboys owner needed to see after he seemed uninvested in the season following Week 8 and was more concerned about his oil and gas empire.

Jones is now all in on the team, making the postseason after last losing in the Wild Card round of the 2023 season. "The way this team is playing, I think we've got a team that can sustain this," Jones said to the media afterward.
"And then if we get a shot at it, we can deserve to be there." Regarding the turkey leg in his hand, the Cowboys owner was pleased to say that it tasted better than it looked on TV.
