Devonta Smith, Saquon Barkley get major injury updates for Eagles vs. Bears Week 13

It's not often that an NFL team gets to play on a Friday.

But the Philadelphia Eagles and Chicago Bears will get that chance on the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday. It's Week 13, and it's a huge game in the NFC playoff picture.

Philly got some good news on Thursday, too, as far as injury updates for DeVonta Smith and Saquon Barkley.

The Eagles revealed good news on both of them: Smith and Barkley won't have injury designations for Friday's game.

The talented WR Smith missed practice on both Tuesday and Wednesday. He was listed as having shoulder and chest injuries.

But on Thursday, Smith was back as a full practice participant.

Barkley was limited on Tuesday and Wednesday with a groin injury. He was also a full participant in Thursday's practice.

The Eagles have ruled three players out for Friday.

Star right tackle Lane Johnson is the biggest absence, out with a foot injury.

They've also ruled out WR/returner Xavier Gipson with a shoulder problem, and offensive lineman Myles Hinton with a back issue.

The game will kick off at the unusual 3 p.m. ET on Friday. Smith and Barkley will both be out there.
