The National Football League's [My Cause My Cleats campaign](https://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/community/my-cause-my-cleats), now in its 10th season, is an annual initiative that empowers players to showcase their commitment to the causes they support through creative artwork and custom designs on their game cleats. To recognize and celebrate the positive impact players are having across the country, the Philadelphia Eagles will join the NFL community by lacing up their custom cleats on Sunday, November 23 in Dallas. The team will then return to Lincoln Financial Field on Friday, November 28 where coaches and support staff will help turn autism awareness into action by wearing Eagles Autism Foundation-inspired sneakers on the sideline.
"My Cause My Cleats is a player-driven platform that does a tremendous job of amplifying the voices, charitable causes, and social issues that matter most," said Jeffrey Lurie, Chairman and CEO, Philadelphia Eagles. "I am especially proud of our players for always taking this opportunity to drive change and draw attention to the organizations that work year-round to help others. The dedication of those in our building is inspiring and it is a testament to their ongoing commitment to making a positive difference in the community."
This year, Eagles players will raise awareness for several important causes such as autism research and care, cancer awareness and prevention, mental health, and youth development, among others.
For the ninth consecutive year, the team's philanthropic arm, which has raised more than $40 million for cutting-edge autism research and care programs, will be displayed on Nike sneakers with a custom Eagles Autism Foundation color scheme. The sneakers will be worn by coaches, trainers, ownership, and staff in Week 13.
Images of the cleats and the inspirational stories behind them will be shared on social media using the hashtag #MyCauseMyCleats. Game-used cleats will be auctioned off at NFL Auction, where 100 percent of the proceeds raised will be donated to charities selected by the players.
