I tell you what, Jerry Jones, the price to keep George Pickens around beyond 2025 is getting more expensive as the weeks go on after his efforts in the Dallas Cowboys' 31-28 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Pickens would post 88 yards from his six receptions, which is actually a "down" game for George based on his previous weeks. He did start slow, having just two catches for 22 yards in the first half as CeeDee Lamb took over, but late in the fourth quarter, George came to the party.
Facing a third-and-eight at midfield, Dak Prescott hit Pickens on a slant before he turned his defender around and hurried upfield. But he wasn't done. George then hurdled a Chiefs defender en route to a 39-yard gain.
And head coach Brian Schottenheimer lauded his receiver's game, even if he did fumble late.
“He's just really good,” Schottenheimer said. “It's hard to put up the game numbers he's been putting up every week, but you can see the big play there at the end. How about kudos to KaVontae Turpin, man, hustling over the ball. That was a huge play because obviously, we needed the field goal. GP, what he's done over the last couple weeks as a player is amazing.”

Pickens proving to be a steal for Cowboys
George might just be the signing of the season.
With his season stats now up to 1,142 yards and eight touchdowns from 73 receptions, Pickens has now hit career-highs in every category this season.
And he's only 12 games into the season.
That is the sort of player Dallas has gotten, and his chemistry with Prescott is only going to get better, with No. 4 looking George's way for what was the game-sealing third-down conversion that went for 13 yards.
Pickens has been superb since joining Dallas, both on and off the field, as the Cowboys are mounting a playoff charge that he will have a lot to do with down the stretch.
