Ultimately, Everton really shouldn’t be too concerned about their record with Pawson and any of the controversial decisions he’s made in the past.
They should really get the business done against Newcastle if they’re to realise their goals of qualifying for Europe.
Moyes has made Europe his goal this season, so these are the games they should be targeting maximum points in, especially at home against a side low in morale.
Eddie Howe’s side haven’t won a single away game in the Premier League this season, and the Toffees have only lost one game at home.
So, the data suggests it should be a third consecutive win for the Merseysiders, who are only three points adrift of fourth-placed Aston Villa.
