Here is my prediction on what each position room could look like next offseason. Don't read too much into the order of each room, it is more about what the 53 man roster could look like.
In terms of free agents and draft prospects, I’ve included some names. I won’t tend to look at any draft targets until after free agency opens in March. So edit these names for the players you prefer most.
Quarterback
Shedeur Sanders
Dillon Gabriel
Deshaun Watson
All signs point to Watson being a post June 1st cut in March 2027.
Running Back
Quinshon Judkins
(Free Agent) - Brian Robinson
Dylan Sampson
They need to find a backup running back who can work with Judkins on rushing snaps as all signs point to Sampson being a receiving back.
Wide Receiver
Jerry Jeudy
(Free Agent) - Romeo Doubs/Alec Pierce/Deebo Samuel
(First Round Draft Pick) - Carnell Tate
Cedric Tillman
Isaiah Bond/Malachi Corley
Gage Larvadain
While Jeudy has underwhelm he is going to be here for one more year. Since you don't know what will happen in the draft they go out with the intention of making a move in free agency and if any of these three make it there I can see them pulling the trigger. It has been a failure of several General Managers to attempt to draft a wide receiver high. Andrew Berry finally pulls the trigger on a wide receiver after trading down. Lets select a Buckeye to keep everyone happy.
Tight End
Harold Fannin
(Free Agent) - Daniel Bellinger
(Day Three Draft Pick) - Eli Stowers
They let Njoku move on to move to more of a three wide receiver offense. Bellinger makes a lot of sense as a second tight end and someone I wanted the Browns to draft initially.
Offensive Tackle
(Free Agent) - Cam Robinson
Dawand Jones
(First Round Draft Pick) - Kadyn Proctor
KT Leveston
They bring back Robinson as a bridge to another year knowing they are going to draft someone. Then they can look at him competing with Jones at right tackle for the year.
Guard
(Free Agent) - Joel Bitonio
(Free Agent) - Teven Jenkins
Zak Zinter
(Day Two Draft Pick) - Olaivavega Ioane
It would be fantastic to see Bitonio return for one last year. While it is unlikely, it is the Cleveland Browns best route to success on the offensive line. If it isn't him then they could look to spend whatever it takes to bring a talented guard in. It could be they go with two $15m+ guards but in this case they look to give Jenkins a go in 2026 and add a guard at the top of the second round so that they can transition into the future next year.
Center
(Free Agent) - Tyler Linderbaum
Luke Wypler
While they could go cheap on the position and bring Ethan Pocic back, with noise that Tyler Linderbaum is going to be a free agent it makes sense to turn a weakness into a strength.
