Manchester United and Everton are among the clubs credited with interest in FC Midtjylland’s Franculino Djú.
The Toffees looked at the striker last summer but didn’t make advances. Earlier this month, we covered claims from Denmark that Everton sent a scout to follow him. Recent claims from elsewhere have mentioned Manchester United have entered the race.
Tipsbladet relay claims made elsewhere about Manchester United and then provide their own updates. They claim Everton and Bayern Munich are also in the race to secure the 21-year-old’s services.
The Guinea-Bissau international has been the standout player for Midtjylland this season, scoring 19 goals and contributing three assists from 28 matches. His displays have seen him attract a lot of attention.
Tipsbladet report an unnamed Saudi Arabian club made advances by tabling a €30m bid. The Danish side weren’t pleased with this proposal and rejected it. They want their player to be the Superliga’s record sale. The current record is set at €25m, which FC Nordsjælland earned from Ernest Nuamah’s sale to RWD Molenbeek in 2023.
Everton and Manchester United told €35m

Manchester United and Everton have been told they will need €35m to sign Franculino, which feels inflated.
