Black Friday might be mostly about retailers, but in 2023, the NFL saw the opportunity to try something new.
Given the success of the league’s Thanksgiving Day games, officials began scheduling a matchup for the day after the holiday, which would air exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. It was, in some ways, a make-good for the streaming service, which is usually the home of Thursday night games, since all Thanksgiving games are broadcast over the air.
While some previous matchups haven’t exactly been must-see TV (sorry, Raiders fans), this year’s could turn fans’ heads, with two teams still very much in the running for the playoffs. Here’s how to watch the Black Friday game.
Friday, Nov. 28
Chicago Bears vs Philadelphia Eagles, 3:00 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime.
Can I watch the NFL's Black Friday game for free over the air?
Not today. Since this is a streaming exclusive, the only way you can watch without a subscription is by living in one of the two home cities.
Can I stream the Black Friday game live online if I don't have a cable subscription?
Normally, there's a wide variety of options available for you to watch, many with free trials. Today, you have just one choice: Amazon Prime.
Who is Amazon’s broadcast team?
Play-by-play is handled by longtime NFL veteran Al Michaels. Kirk Herbstreit contributes color commentary. Kaylee Hartung handles sideline reporting.
