Green Bay +2.5 over DETROIT

Jordan Love sure loves playing against the Lions. He looked like a true franchise QB, though the Lions definitely were hamstrung on offence without Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta.

Kansas City -3 over DALLAS

The Cowboys defence rallying after the Marshawn Kneeland tragedy is something I didn’t think would carry over this far. This unit is playing much better than it had been early on.

Cincinnati +7 over BALTIMORE

At this point, I think it’s fairly safe to say that there’s something wrong with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. This just hasn’t been their year and you have to wonder if their Super Bowl window is closing.

Chicago +7 over PHILADELPHIA

The Eagles can’t seem to put two solid halves together and now are down some key defensive backs for this Black Friday affair.

TENNESSEE +6.5 over Jacksonville

The Titans quietly have gone on a little run of covering games despite keeping up their losing ways. Cam Ward actually graded out as a top-5 QB last week, a ray of hope for this moribund franchise.

Arizona +3 over TAMPA BAY

Baker Mayfield is the glue holding together the Bucs’ hopes, but his shoulder isn’t holding together too well. The Cards are in the midst of their annual late-season spiral, but at least have a shot at covering.

Houston +4.5 over INDIANAPOLIS

The Texans defence continues to impress with the team’s playoff life on the line. They’ll have their hands full with Jonathan Taylor but Daniel Jones could be limited by injury. Houston may be getting CJ Stroud back, too, though Davis Mills should be commended for his efforts.

L.A. Rams -10.5 over CAROLINA

The Panthers are on short rest after looking pretty bad on offence against a banged-up 49ers team. How will they be able to hang with arguably the best team in the league coming to town?

CLEVELAND +5 over San Francisco

Shedeur Sanders isn’t going to start a winning streak, but the Browns has game-changing ability. We wouldn’t exactly call Brock Purdy very convincing in his return from injury, either.

NEW YORK JETS +2.5 over Atlanta

Winning in a dome in New Orleans is much different than playing the chilly outdoors in New Jersey against a team that is showing at least some signs of life in their lost season.

MIAMI -6 over New Orleans

If last week’s loss at home to reeling Atlanta Falcons team taught us anything, it’s that these Saints truly are among the league’s worst teams.

SEATTLE -11.5 over Minnesota

Having a concussed J.J. McCarthy or an undrafted free agent QB face this Seahawks defence is a recipe for disaster. Plus, Sam Darnold should be looking for a little revenge.

Buffalo -4 over PITTSBURGH

The Bills have had a few extra days to rest up for this one and won’t be too troubled by this Steelers defence, which hasn’t performed up to expectations most of this season.

L.A. CHARGERS -10 over Las Vegas

The Chargers come off their bye and get to face a Raiders team that continues to implode, having fired more coaches this past week. Will any Raiders fans in L.A. still show up to cheer this woeful team?

Denver -6 over WASHINGTON

The Commanders were done no favours in this one, losing any sort of rest advantage off their bye and hosting a West Coast team in prime time instead of earlier in the afternoon. Washington’s season is pretty much toast and should only get worse here.

New York Giants +7.5 over NEW ENGLAND

Whether it’s Jaxson Dart or Jameis Winston doesn’t matter all too much for this pick. What does matter is that a fairly average Pats offensive line lost its two best players and will have trouble keeping the Giants pass rush at bay.

Last week: 8-5-1
