The NFC North-leading 8-3 Chicago Bears head on the road to take on the NFC East-leading 8-3 Philadelphia Eagles in what should be a thrilling game between two first-place teams. This game is going to come down to which team can run the football best. The Bears have the number two rushing attack in the league this season, averaging 142.3 yards per game, and the Eagles run defense ranks 18th, allowing 115.1 rush yards per game.
The Eagles run game, which was such a strength a season ago, has not been great this season. They rank 21st in the league, averaging 110.5 rush yards per game; however, this matchup vs. the Bears could be their chance to break out. The Bears defense ranks 28th in the NFL in rushing yards against per game, allowing 138.1 per game. The Eagles will need Saquon Barkley to finally get going if they want to avoid losing a second straight game.
Final score: Eagles 27 – Bears 24
