**Eddie Howe has the unenviable task of picking up his players after a difficult defeat on Wednesday in the Champions League.**
Not only does he need to pick up the team's morale, but he's also been left with some big calls to make in terms of team selection, particularly in the goalkeeper department.
Some decisions will be out of Eddie Howe's hands, however, as he confirmed during his press conference on Friday morning that several players are carrying knocks.
We knew about Kieran Trippier's injury, and [Craig Hope revealed last night](https://nufcfeed.com/journalist-now-shares-good-news-and-bad-news-on-newcastle-united-injury-front-1714364) that he's facing a month on the sidelines, which was confirmed by Howe this morning.

Sven Botman could be out of tomorrow's squad
Sven Botman is suffering from a back injury

Howe also confirmed that Yoane Wissa has now been training with the group, and he went on to say that they have a comeback date in mind, but they aren't willing to share.
Is he going to be in the squad tomorrow? That would be absolutely crazy if it proves to be the case, but sitting on the bench won't hurt we suppose.
More concerning is that Sven Botman is suffering from a back problem, which could explain why Fabian Schar has been preferred to the Dutchman of late.
Will Eddie Howe play Tino Livramento for the third game in a row?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Emil Krafth is another doubt for tomorrow's squad as he's still struggling with the injury he picked up on international duty.
That sounds like it's going to be another start for Tino Livramento, who is just coming back from injury himself. It's slightly risky having him play three games in a row in such a short space of time, but options are limited.
Unless Eddie Howe opts to go three at the back again and use Jacob Murphy as right wing-back with Lewis Hall on the left, swapping around what he did on Tuesday.
