FC Midtjylland have agreed with Franculino Dju to sell the striker in the summer amid Everton’s growing interest.

The attacker has quickly become one of the most wanted players in Europe after a sensational start to the 2025-26 campaign.

To date, the 21-year-old has netted 19 goals in 28 games in all competitions, including three in the Europa League.

As a result, Everton have renewed their interest in Dju and have now received a boost in their pursuit of the attacker.

FC Midtjylland to demand record fee for Franculino Dju

According to Tipsbladet on 28 November, FC Midtjylland have now agreed with Dju to sell the striker in the summer.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

FC Midtjylland have previously held firm that they would not sell Dju mid-season, and this message continues to circulate.

This comes after a Saudi Arabian club offered £26.27million for the attacker, which was swiftly rejected.

Everton have renewed their interest in Dju after previously being linked to him in the summer

FC Midtjylland want £30.65m to part with Dju, a fee that would be a record departure in the Danish Super Liga.

This comes amid Everton’s interest in Dju, with the Toffees reportedly watching the attacker in a recent FC Midtjylland match.

The article continues to state the Toffees’ interest, alongside Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

While Everton are likely to be forced to wait until the summer to sign Dju, his agents are pushing for a departure this winter.

Dju could form a formidable partnership with Beto

While Beto has been awful for Everton this season, the addition of Dju could well help the attacker get back to his best.

The pair are both seasoned internationals for Guinea-Bissau, having a combined 24 caps.

Therefore, given that the pair have already played with each other on the international stage, the duo could form a formidable partnership at the Toffees.

This may also give Everton a slight edge on the other teams in the race for Dju as David Moyes looks to end his goalscoring woes.
