Arne Slot will be hoping some of his injured players can return to action this weekend as Liverpool travel to London to face a revitalised West Ham United.

The current Premier League champions suffered their third consecutive loss on Wednesday as PSV Eindhoven beat Liverpool 4-1 at Anfield. The Reds have lost by a three-goal margin in each of those defeats.

The result left Slot's side 13th in the Champions League table. The club's situation is not much better in the Premier League, where they sit 12th, 11 points off league leaders Arsenal. The squad will be hoping they can find their form this Sunday at the London Stadium.

Under-pressure Slot had a series of key players sidelined for their midweek European clash. Heading into a busy festive period, the Dutchman will surely want these players back as soon as possible with the games coming thick and fast.

Liverpool will play four games in 11 days, starting with West Ham on Sunday. Fixtures against newly promoted Sunderland and Leeds follow, with a Champions League bout with Inter Milan to close it off.

With Slot now looking ahead to Sunday, the Liverpool Echo have the latest news on Liverpool's injured players and their expected return dates.

Hugo Ekitike

Hugo Ekitike was on the pitch for 61 minutes against PSV Eindhoven before being substituted with a back injury. The Frenchman has been the better of Slot's striker signings this summer, with Alexander Isak struggling to find form.

Slot said on November 27: "They don't expect that it has to be a big issue, but the games come fast, so let's see for the weekend. But it shouldn't have to be a big issue."

Potential return: November 30

Florian Wirtz

Florian Wirtz has not played for Liverpool since returning from international duty. He played twice for Germany but has since suffered a muscle injury. The 22-year-old is still undergoing rehab, but Slot is hopeful he can feature this weekend.

Slot said on November 27: "Florian will have his final day of rehab tomorrow. So, if that all goes well, he could train with the team on Saturday."

Potential return: November 30

Alisson Becker

Liverpool's No.1 missed the midweek Champions League clash due to illness. Alisson has only played two games for the Reds in the past month, having also been brought off after just 56 minutes against Galatasaray in September with an injury.

Slot said on November 27: "Ali trained again with the team today, so we hope and expect him to be available at the weekend."

Potential return: November 30

Conor Bradley

Like Wirtz, Bradley hasn't featured for Liverpool since the international break, where he played two games for Northern Ireland. The young defender has moved up Slot's pecking order, having started seven Premier League games since the departure of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Slot said on November 21: "I don’t expect Conor to be part of the upcoming 22 days. Maybe in the end, but not in the [next] 22 days unless something like a miracle happens, which I don’t expect."

Potential return: Mid December

Conor Bradley of Liverpool celebrates with Arne Slot head coach of Liverpool at full time following the 1-0 victory during the UEFA Champions League 2025/26 League Phase MD4 match between Liverpool FC and Real Madrid C.F. at Anfield

Jeremie Frimpong

Frimpong suffered a thigh injury in October during Liverpool's dominant 5-1 win over Frankfurt. The 24-year-old has endured a slow start to life on Merseyside, having played just 84 minutes of league football.

Slot said on November 21: "Jeremie is out just as long. He’s not probably going to be available in the upcoming two or three weeks as well. It’s going to be interesting who all of you want to see as a right full-back."

Potential return: Mid December

Giovanni Leoni

18-year-old Leoni suffered a cruciate ligament injury early into his time at Anfield. His one game for Liverpool so far was a positive showing in the club's 2-1 win over Southampton in the EFL Cup.

Slot said on September 26: "He is not in a good place because he tore his ACL, which means he will be out around a year. Being so young and coming to a new country and playing so well in your first game, it's very hard to take the positives. But you try to look at that, and that is that he is still so young, and he has so many years still to go after he recovers."

Potential return: Early June 2026
