Pundit Chris Sutton has predicted the outcome of Everton’s game against Newcastle tomorrow.
The BBC Sport writer insists the Blues are ‘great to watch’, however Moyes is still ‘missing a goalscorer’.
Everton go into the game off the back of a superb win at Old Trafford and should be buoyed by the performance.
Meanwhile, Newcastle recorded a 2-1 win over Manchester City last week, but lost by the same scoreline at Marseille on Tuesday.
Everton sit three points better off than the visitors ahead of the game, with a marginally better goal difference.
Eddie Howe’s side have now won away in the league since April, with their overall form fairly mixed.
BLUES SHOULD GO INTO GAME FULL OF CONFIDENCE AFTER OLD TRAFFORD VICTORY
Predicting a 1-1 draw, Sutton said: “I really like what David Moyes is doing at Everton. They were very good in their win at Old Trafford on Monday – firstly with 11 men and then especially with 10.
“With Jack Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Iliman Ndiaye, Everton have got a bit about them going forward and they are great to watch, but they are just missing a goalscorer.
“Their centre-forward against Manchester United, Thierno Barry, actually did all right. He didn’t look like he was going to score but, in that scenario, with 10 men, he worked so hard and was getting on the end of a lot of balls up to him.
“Whether it is Barry or Beto who starts against Newcastle, they are both due a goal – Beto has not found the net since August, while Barry has not scored this season.”
The Toffees will be without Idrissa Gueye following his sending off against Manchester United.
However, it could be a chance for Tim Ireogbunam to earn his place in Moyes’ starting XI.
Despite their away record, Newcastle will be a test for the Blues, but after Monday’s win confidence should be high.
