After a terrible start to their season, West Ham have gained some momentum recently and are now out of the bottom three in 17th. Arne Slot's Liverpool, meanwhile, have slipped down the table in recent weeks and their title defence is now in ruins.

A real concern for Liverpool right now is their defensive record. They've conceded 20 goals thus far into the season, and only the bottom four - which, to be fair, includes West Ham - have conceded more.
After struggling for traction in his early days at West Ham, striker Callum Wilson seems to have found his form in recent weeks. The former England striker has now scored three in his last two games, including a brace against his old club Bournemouth last weekend.

Earlier in the season, West Ham might've looked like the perfect opponents for a strong side suffering from a crisis in confidence to bounce back against.
However, right now this doesn't look like the best game for Liverpool. Not only are West Ham unbeaten in their last three - winning their last two at home as well - but Liverpool have not picked up a single point away since September.
Given the way that the Reds folded against PSV in the midweek, it's easy to imagine how Nuno's side could take the game to them here. If West Ham can score early, this could be another miserable day for Liverpool.
