Talk of Arne Slot leaving Liverpool continues, and several names have been mooted to replace the Dutchman.
It’s now nine defeats in 12 matches for the Reds manager in all competitions, and fan unrest is growing.

Julian Nagelsmann has been linked as a replacement, though his potential arrival has been played down.
Meanwhile, the possibility of Jurgen Klopp returning to Anfield, whether that be on a short-term or long-term basis, has been mooted.
Should that happen, it could see Liverpool outcast Harvey Elliott back to his best when and if his Aston Villa loan ends.
Will Harvey Elliott return to Liverpool
The versatile Englishman joined Aston Villa on a season-long loan deal at the end of the summer window.
If he plays 10 games for the Midlands outfit, Liverpool will net a £35m cash boost.

However, at present, Unai Emery isn’t even selecting the player in matchday squads, missing the last four gameweeks.
The latest report on the situation claims Elliott could return to Liverpool this term, with all parties thought to be unhappy with the current situation.
If that does happen, the 22-year-old cannot join another club in 2025/26 as he has already played for two teams this term.
As a result, Elliott is expected to be left in limbo as long as Slot remains in charge, given how few starts he gave him last season.
Under Klopp, however, it could well be a very different story for the London-born ace.

What Jurgen Klopp has said about Harvey Elliott
During the German’s last season, Elliott played 34 Premier League matches, scoring three and assisting nine.
Klopp, unlike Slot, clearly loved working with the England U21 international, praising him on multiple occasions while they worked together.
After returning from an injury in 2022, Elliott was labelled ‘fearless’ and a ‘great footballer’ by his then-manager, as per Sky Sports.
In 2021, Klopp said that the Aston Villa loanee was a ‘sensational talent’ when speaking to the BBC.
Meanwhile, the ex-Liverpool boss couldn’t stop raving about Elliott when he signed a new contract in 2020.
He told the club’s official website: “Brilliant news – really happy.
“Harvey is such an exciting prospect. We all know his qualities – we have seen them this season in the first team and U23s.
“I love his attitude – love his enthusiasm – love his bravery – love the fact he has the right amount of football confidence and cheekiness.”
