Liverpool will face West Ham United in a Premier League fixture on Sunday, aiming to put an end to their dire run of form.
After defeat against Nottingham Forest in their last league tie, the Reds have matched an unwanted record from all the way back in 1953/54.
Liverpool go into the fixture having suffered six defeats in their last seven, while West Ham are now improving under Nuno Espirito Santo.

West Ham vs Liverpool score prediction
Liverpool’s head-to-head record against the Hammers is impressive, losing just once in all competitions since 2016.
However, history does not matter in the eyes of BBC pundit Chris Sutton, who is backing a 2-1 home win on Sunday.
He said: “Liverpool’s run of defeats cannot go on indefinitely, but what is there to suggest it will end on Sunday against the Hammers?

“But you get to a stage where you have to just go with your gut, forget what a good team Liverpool used to be, and instead make a prediction based on the way they are playing at the moment.
“There has definitely been an upturn in form from West Ham under Nuno Espirito Santo, and I can’t see Liverpool keeping a clean sheet.”
Paul Merson, on the other hand, has predicted a 2-1 win for the visitors when speaking to Sportskeeda, explaining that he’s ‘backing Liverpool since they have the better players all over the pitch.’

What Opta say about West Ham vs Liverpool
Despite West Ham sitting just above the relegation zone right now, it’s hard to be optimistic going into the fixture.
Liverpool’s players look devoid of confidence, and Arne Slot is either unwilling or unable to change things up.
However, while the mood around Anfield is low right now, fans may actually be treated to a rare win this weekend.
Opta’s supercomputer makes Liverpool clear favourites for the game, giving them a 49.8% chance of winning compared to West Ham’s 26.6% chance.
