All eyes were on the UEFA Women’s Nations League as Mariona Caldentey's Spain played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg of the final against Germany.
Heading to the Fritz-Walter Stadion in Kaiserslautern for the opening leg, Mariona played the full 90 minutes, but her side couldn't break down a stubborn German defence, who kept the score goalless. The second leg takes place on Tuesday, December 2 at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid.
In the third-place play-off, **Stina Blackstenius** got on the scoresheet, but it wasn't enough to prevent Sweden from losing 2-1 against France in stoppage time.
Sakina Karchaoui opened the scoring for hosts France in added time at the end of the first half following a VAR check. Stina then bagged an equaliser after meeting Hanna Lundqvist's cross to head home. But it was France who clinched third spot in the competition, courtesy of Griedge Mbock in the 96th minute, flicking home Karchaoui's corner. Rosa Kafaji, on loan at Brighton, was an unused sub.
Stina wasn't the only one of our stars getting on the scoresheet in a busy day of international football as **Kyra Cooney-Cross** found the net with a superb long-range strike in Australia's comfortable 5-0 win over New Zealand.

Just seconds after Ellie Carpenter had given the Matildas a third, Kyra picked up the ball and unleashed a shot from range which rocketed into the net off the underside of the bar. **Steph Catley** captained the Australia side, playing the full 90 minutes and keeping a clean sheet.
Over in the United States, **Emily Fox** played the full 90 minutes as the US defeated Italy 3-0 in an international friendly. Olivier Moultrie and a double from Catarina Macario sealed the win at the Inter & Co Stadium in Orlando.
**Victoria Pelova** played 62 minutes for the Netherlands in their 2-1 win over Portugal at the Estádio Municipal de Braga. Casity Grant and Lynn Wilms netted in the space of three first-half minutes to give the Dutch the victory.
Lastly, **Frida Maanum** featured in Norway's impressive 3-1 victory against Brazil in an international friendly in Spain. Frida started the contest as a double from Signe Gaupset, and an Ada Hegerberg goal secured the victory.
