Chelsea signed Anselmino from Argentine side Boca Juniors in the summer of 2024, and he is one of a number of talents the Blues have signed from South America.

Anselmino has put in some impressive performances for Dortmund.

This is his first taste of European football, and early evidence shows the Argentine is adapting well, but it’s too early to say whether he has a long term future at Chelsea.

Dortmund boss Kovac has been impressed with the youngster and stated he expects Anselmino to remain in Germany for the rest of the season.

“I think everything is settled with Chelsea,” he said as quoted by Buli News.

“He’s our player, and I expect him to remain with us until the end of the season.

“I would like that to happen because I think it’s clear he’s getting the minutes he needs here, which he didn’t get at Chelsea.”
