Liverpool will have already spoken to Jurgen Klopp about a potential return to the club to replace Arne Slot.
That’s according to Didi Hamann. [He’s been speaking to BILD](https://www.bild.de/) and thinks Liverpool have already made enquiries with their former manager.
Liverpool are currently sinking into disaster after a run of nine defeats in 12 games in all competitions. A 4-1 loss to PSV Eindhoven at Anfield in the Champions League this week was their third straight loss by a three-goal margin.
It’s been a shocking run of form for the Premier League champions, who had started the season on a winning streak and looking likely to dominate after a huge summer of investment.
Instead, barely any of their big money recruits have worked out so far. And Slot is increasingly looking like a man who does not have the answers. Some Liverpool fans are already calling for him to be removed from his position.
That is an easy decision for some given Jurgen Klopp remains off the touchline. He’s currently head of Global Soccer for Red Bull. But he did hint at a potential return to Liverpool in an interview not long ago. And Hamann believes the Reds owners will have already spoken to him about it.
“I assume they have spoken with Klopp. Many are already longing for his return,” he said.
