There have been a number of standout performers this season at Everton in what has been a solid start to the campaign.
David Moyes saw a number of quality players added over the summer to really bolster his options in The Friedkin Group’s first summer window.
More money is going to have to be spent in the January transfer market, with the Blues unable to tick off every need earlier in the year.
However, the foundations were put in place at Everton over the summer for a positive future under the Friedkins.
Moyes was delighted with Everton’s summer business, which has certainly improved the squad quality from what he inherited from Sean Dyche.
And there is one player specifically who Michael Keane and James Tarkowski both agree has already become the manager’s favourite.

Which Everton player has become David Moyes’ favourite
Everton face a big test on Saturday against Newcastle United, where they will need their top players to step up with some goals.
Tarkowski has mocked Jack Grealish’s only goal of the season, which came against Crystal Palace back in October.

This has not stopped Tarkowski and Keane both naming Grealish as the player most likely to be invited to the manager’s house for a meal.
Isn’t he everyone’s favourite at Everton?
“I could see it” 🤣

“Yeah, fan favourite, manager favourite. I could definitely see it [Grealish having lunch at Moyes’ house],” said Tarkowski.
The defensive duo were quizzed on a number of topics where they had to write their own answers and reveal whether they said the same thing.
Tarkowski has been heavily praised this season for his performances without his usual partner Jarrad Branthwaite.
But Keane has certainly played his part in stepping up at the back in the absence of the 23-year-old.
Jack Grealish has become a real fan favourite at Everton
Having made a big-money loan move from Manchester City over the summer, Grealish has quickly settled into life on Merseyside.
Ironically, Moyes called for Grealish to score more goals during his press conference on Friday ahead of Newcastle United’s visit.
Plenty of interesting takeaways from David Moyes’ pre-Newcastle press conference…
The 30-year-old has only been able to return a single goal, with four assists also to his name.
Thomas Tuchel also showed his respect for Grealish in the Old Trafford tunnel on Monday evening after the win over Manchester United.
Clearly, there is more the winger could be doing to earn himself a spot in the England side, but those on Merseyside are certainly happy to have him around.
