Every Spurs player eligible to be traded on December 15

With the San Antonio Spurs off to a stellar start, they may look to be active around the trade deadline to bolster their roster. Trade season unofficially starts on December 15, 2025, when teams are able to trade players who were signed to contracts this past summer.

That means that in just a couple of weeks, teams will likely begin scouring the trade market and making calls to see who's available. The Spurs should be one of those teams.

They currently have four players who will become eligible to be traded come December 15th, though they may look to move other players on their roster in hopes of making a big move. Next, let's take a look at the four players eligible to be traded on December 15th.

Every Spurs player eligible to be traded on December 15:

--------------------------------------------------------

Luke Kornet

Bismack Biyombo

Jordan McLaughlin

Lindy Waters III

Those four players could technically be traded, though the odds of them being moved seem unlikely. Kornet is the most untradeable of those four players, with him emerging as a key player for the Spurs this season.

He has even been tasked with starting in place of the injured Victor Wembanyama and has done an admirable job as the team awaits the return of their superstar.

Biyombo is on the team as a good vibes guy, who is there more for his locker room presence than his on-court play. Waters III has played sparingly but fits a small role as an off-the-bench shooter who can come in, play a few minutes, and hit a couple of threes.

Lastly, McLaughlin was brought in to be a third-string point guard but has been injured for much of the season. Even when the Spurs were down to just one point guard. None of those players are likely to be traded, though if they were to make a move, Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell would be most likely to be moved.

However, they have played well this season, meaning that [they probably won't be moved](https://airalamo.com/devin-vassell-painfully-close-untouchable-spurs-cant-rule-out-trade) unless there is a homerun trade in the works. The Spurs have made trades in season over the last several seasons. Now, they may finally be happy to stand pat at the trade deadline this season with them off to the best start in more than seven years.

Even so, with December 15th rapidly approaching, we will soon see trades and also find out who's on the trade block. Just don't expect the four Spurs eligible to be moved to be traded after December 15th.
