Anthony Edwards scored 39 points on 12-for-24 shooting and the Minnesota Timberwolves finished strong for a 119-115 win over the Boston Celtics on Saturday in Minneapolis.

Julius Randle added 16 points and nine rebounds for Minnesota, which snapped a three-game losing streak. Donte DiVincenzo scored 15 points and made 4 of 7 attempts from deep.

Jaylen Brown scored 41 points on 17-for-32 shooting to lead Boston. Neemias Queta recorded a double-double with 19 points and 18 rebounds for the Celtics.

Minnesota outscored Boston 60-46 in the second half to rally for the victory.

The Celtics led by as many as 12 points early in the third quarter. Queta made a dunk to put the Celtics on top 71-59 with 11:45 to go in the quarter.

The Timberwolves battled back to grab an 83-82 lead with 4:23 left in the quarter. Edwards made back-to-back baskets to give Minnesota the one-point lead.

Terrence Shannon Jr. made a 3-pointer to increase Minnesota's lead to 94-88 with 43.6 seconds left in the third quarter. The Celtics answered with baskets by Josh Minott and Brown to close the gap to two points entering the fourth quarter.

The score remained tight in the final minutes.

Brown made a 3-pointer to even the score at 110-all with 1:38 remaining.

Mike Conley put the Timberwolves back on top 113-110 when he made a 3-pointer with 1:12 left.

Edwards added two free throws to make it 115-110 with 44.6 seconds to go.

Derrick White answered with two free throws to cut the deficit to 115-112 with 37.7 seconds left, but that proved to be the closest the Celtics would get to the lead.

Edwards made a 3-pointer and DiVincenzo made one free throw in the final 14 seconds to help secure the outcome.

The Celtics built a 69-59 lead at the half. Brown buried a step-back 3-pointer from 28 feet to put Boston on top by 12 with 32.2 seconds left, but Naz Reid made a basket on the other end of the court to pull the Timberwolves within 10 with 10.2 seconds to play.
