It was a complete night on Saturday for the Antetokounmpo siblings. Giannis Antetokounmpo got his historic milestone, as he joined theNBA’s 21,000-point club during theMilwaukee Bucks’ 116-99 win against the Brooklyn Nets at Fiserv Forum, and in the same game, his brother, Thanasis, scored his 488th point in the league.
While Thanasis obviously will not get as many points as Giannis in the NBA, his two points against the Nets might just be the best bucket scored in the entire contest.
With Milwaukee on its way to finishing a blowout win over the Nets and with only under a minute left in regulation, Thanasis took advantage of the garbage time, as he drove to the basket and threw down a nasty left-handed dunk while putting Nets rookie Ben Saraf on a poster.

Thanasis brought the house down with that throwdown and had Giannis and other Bucks players jumping off their seats during what was an otherwise virtually decided contest.

Milwaukee was not going to lose eight games in a row, as the Bucks took advantage of a light opponent in the three-win Nets. Antetokounmpo finished with 29 points to lead all scorers. All the players who started for Milwaukee scored at least 10 points, while Bobby Portis and Kyle Kuzma fired 13 and 11 points, respectively, off the bench.
The Bucks are now just three games under .500. Looking ahead, Milwaukee will try to win its 10th game this Monday versus the Washington Wizards on the road.
