Liverpool has lost nine of its last 12 games in all competitions and travels to West Ham United in the Premier League in dire need of the three points to get back on track.
Arne Slot's side is not actually that far off the Champions League places as things stand, but it needs to address the worrying slide in performances, with games against Sunderland and Leeds United following the clash at the London Stadium.
Goalkeeper Alisson Becker should be available again after missing the 4-1 defeat at home to PSV midweek through illness. And Slot has some big calls to make across the rest of the team, where changes are possible.
He could stick with Curtis Jones at right-back but Joe Gomez is another option. Gomez could play at full-back but might be preferred to Ibrahima Konate in the center, with the Frenchman currently struggling.
Virgil van Dijk will start, while Andy Robertson could come in for Milos Kerkez at left-back for a more solid option down that flank to face up to Jarrod Bowen.
In midfield, there is a limited choice. If Jones is in defense, then it will likely be Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister, and Dominik Szoboszlai in the middle.

Florian Wirtz could come in as the number 10 if fit enough to start, potentially leaving Szoboszlai to play a deeper role. That could allow Mac Allister to drop out amid his recent below-par showings.
Out wide, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo are likely to be deployed. Hugo Ekitike, if fit, would be an option off the left flank, with Alexander Isak through the center.
Ekitike, though, went off with a back complaint in the Champions League. While it isn't an injury that will keep him out for too long, the striker is a potential doubt here.
Slot was asked about the changes he could make to his starting XI ahead of facing West Ham during his pre-match press conference on Thursday, with the lesser-spotted Federico Chiesa and Wataru Endo also among those who could come into the team.

"That's not so easy to say what I can do differently," he said. "It's quite normal if you win or lose or draw that you reflect on a game with decisions that you've made and what you've done during the week.
"[They are] all kind of the usual things managers do if they win or lose. But maybe you do it a little bit more if you lose. You try to find the answers to what is needed to win a game of football.
"In the end, it's about doing what this club is about. It's keep fighting no matter how difficult it is. We have to fight together. But it would also be nice if we would reward ourselves in the moments we play well, because people are very focused, and correctly, about the parts we don't play well.
"There are definitely large parts of the games that we do play well and where we do create a lot of chances. We tend to forget to reward ourselves in those moments. Every small mistake, or small error, immediately leads to us conceding a goal. That is a very bad cocktail to have."
