David Moyes watched his Everton side defeated at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for just the second time on Saturday as Newcastle United ran riot on the Toffees.
Kieranan Dewsbury-Hall bagged a consolation goal for Everton with the home side already four goals down, but in truth, Newcastle were coasting by that point.
It goes without saying that this was Newcastle's best performance away from home this season, even though we have played well in a couple of games on the road and just have not picked up the points.
Newcastle were the better side from kick-off to the final whistle, except for a 10-minute spell in the first half where they seemed to shut off and let Everton back into the game.

David Moyes admits Newcastle were the 'far better team'
Everton manager David Moyes was obviously not a happy bunny at full-time and speaking to BBC's Match of the Day, he gave an interesting excuse for why Newcastle outperformed his side.
"We were beaten by a far better team. We go again, you move on, but Newcastle were much better than us.
“You can see the experience they are gaining from playing in European games.
“They were just much more powerful than us all night.”

We'd say the Champions League is a disadvantage, but sure, David, we'll take it
We may be gaining more experience by playing in the Champions League, but we're also physically knackered playing three games a week with barely any time to train. If anything, our Champions League involvement is an advantage for our Premier League opposition.
We'll take the compliment, however.
It's another short turnaround for Newcastle, who are back in Premier League action on Tuesday night as they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to St James' Park for the second time this season. That's an 8:15 pm kick-off live on Sky Sports.
