Milwaukee Bucks: Myles Turner has heartfelt message for fans after 116-99 win over Nets

The Milwaukee Bucks finally snapped their longest losing streak in years (seven games) by blowing out the lowly Brooklyn Nets 116-99 on a snowy night in the Cream City. Giannis Antetokounmpo, as one might have expected, was the biggest star of the night, pouring in 29 points in just 19 minutes of play. He also had eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Not only that, but Giannis became the sixth-fastest player in NBA history to log 21,000 career points.

As one can tell from Giannis’ short amount of playing time, this was a game that Milwaukee had in control for most of the night. Seven different Bucks players, including all five starters, scored in double digits, and Doc Rivers was able to empty his bench with several minutes left to play. This, of course, was highlighted by Thanasis Antetokounmpo getting into the game and bringing the crowd to its feet with a thundering left-handed dunk in the game’s final minutes.

As mentioned, it was a snowy night in Milwaukee as the Bucks and Nets faced off. The snow started early in the morning and Saturday and did not stop until early Sunday morning. By the time it stopped, Milwaukee had gotten nearly a foot of snow.

But Bucks fans still showed up to the tune of 16,396 people.

And Turner, who had 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists, was very grateful:

S/o To All The @Bucks Fans Who Came Out And Showed Love Tonight @FiservForum In These Crazy Weather Conditions! 🌨️ I Know Yall Used To It But Energy Is Everything! Yall Get Home Safe 💚

Turner, of course, is in his first season with Milwaukee after spending a decade with the Indiana Pacers. Since signing with the Bucks, Turner has often expressed how great Milwaukee fans are now that he is on the right side of the heated Bucks-Pacers rivalry.
