Arsenal needed a second half goal from Mikel Merino to come away from Stamford Bridge with a point against 10 man Chelsea this afternoon.
Moises Caicedo saw red for a horrendous first half challenge on Merino, but the Gunners fell behind to an early second half goal from Trevor Chalobah. Saka provided the assist for the equaliser but despite introducing players like Martin Odegaard, Noni Madueke, and Viktor Gyokeres, we couldn’t find a way through.
Two wins and a draw in a very tough week isn’t bad by any means, but it’s still disappointing not to take three points against 10 men. Especially absolute w*nkers like Chelsea, but we can get going again on Wednesday.
