Andoni Iraola’s side threw away a two-goal lead at the Stadium of Light to continue what has been poor away form – but they have been much better at home and they’ll be looking to build on that form against the Toffees.

Team news
The headlines for the Cherries is around suspensions, with three players ruled out for this game on Saturday.
Lewis Cook received a straight red card in Sunderland, while David Brooks and Marcos Senesi both got their fifth bookings of the season at the Stadium of Light.
On the injury front, Ben Gannon-Doak and Ryan Christie are ruled out, but Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert both returned to the squad at the weekend.
For Everton, Jarrad Branthwaite, Merlin Rohl, Nathan Patterson and Seamus Coleman are ruled out through injury, while Idrissa Gana Gueye is suspended.
Head-to-head
The Cherries have had much the better recent record over the Toffees.
Across the past ten meetings, Bournemouth have won eight and lost just two, with Iraola’s side winning all three of the games between the two last term.
That saw the Cherries do the league double over the Liverpool club, and earn an FA Cup victory at Goodison Park, handing the Toffees a defeat in their final cup game at their historic ground.
First, they completed a remarkable turnaround to win 3-2 on Merseyside in August, having trailed 2-0 with three minutes to play.
Then, back at the Vitality Stadium, David Brooks’ goal 13 minutes from time was the difference in a 1-0 victory for the Cherries.
Finally, a 2-0 win in an away cup tie with goals from Antoine Semenyo and Daniel Jebbison rounded out Bournemouth’s upper hand over Everton last term.
Form
The Cherries have not tasted victory since October after a disappointing November saw them lose at Manchester City and Aston Villa before the international break, before a draw back at home to West Ham.
Then, on Saturday, they squandered a two-goal lead at Sunderland to be beaten 3-2.
The most recent home game against the Hammers saw the Cherries trail 2-0 at halftime, but then a dominant second half saw them come back to draw – although they felt their dominance should have earned all three points.
For Everton, they travel to the south coast off the back of a thumping 4-1 home defeat to Newcastle.
That ruined what had been an unbeaten November for David Moyes’ side, after a draw at Sunderland and wins over Fulham and Manchester United.
AFC Bournemouth host Everton at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday, December 2, kick off at 7.30pm.
