Long before he became a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, Myles Turner starred for a season in the college basketball ranks with the Texas Longhorns.
Turner’s NBA potential shone bright in the 2014-15 campaign with the Longhorns, during which he averaged 10.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in 34 games.
The Indiana Pacers then selected Turner 11th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft, and he spent his first 10 seasons in the pros with them.
An entire decade has passed since he left Austin to become a pro, but Turner still has the Longhorns in his heart.
On Saturday, Turner shared an Instagram post showing his support for his alma mater followinga 116-99 win over the Brooklyn Nets at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
“So Them @texaslonghorns Boys,” Turner captioned a post where he’s shown wearing a Longhorns beanie and jacket.
