Liverpool returned to winning ways as they beat West Ham United 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Arne Slot’s side had lost nine of their previous 12 matches across all competitions as they arrived at The London Stadium, but goals from Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo earned the Reds a vital win.
The victory moved the reigning champions up to eighth in the Premier League table, although they sit just four points behind second-placed Manchester City.
Slot will be pleased with his side’s victory, and he will hope to see them impress once again when they face Sunderland on Wednesday night.
In the meantime, it has emerged that Liverpool are plotting a huge offer to sign a La Liga star.
As per CaughtOffside, the Merseyside outfit are preparing an offer in the region of £52 million for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
The 23-year-old joined Real from French side Rennes back in 2021 and quickly established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Spanish top flight.

He has now made 194 appearances for Real across all competitions, including 14 so far this season.
It is claimed that Liverpool boss Slot has identified the Frenchman as one of his top targets to bolster his midfield options.
Liverpool spent heavily during the recent summer transfer window – in excess of £400 million – but primarily recruited in attacking areas.
While Camavinga still features regularly for Xabi Alonso’s side, the report suggests that the France international isn’t considered untouchable, whereas the likes of Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde and Aurelian Tchouemani all are.
Camavinga is contracted to Real Madrid until the end of the 2028/29 season, but the report claims that those in charge of the club have already held discussions about the player’s long term future in Madrid.
