West Ham United suffered a 2-0 defeat at the London Stadium against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
Cody Gakpo’s goal sealed the three points for the visitors after Alexander Isak’s second-half strike gave them the lead.
Lucas Paqueta had a game to forget as he got himself sent off, receiving two yellow cards within a minute for dissent.
With that result, West Ham remain in 17th place but are level on points with 18th-placed Leeds United.

West Ham predicted to narrowly avoid relegation from the Premier League
Opta’s Supercomputer has crunched the numbers after another week of Premier League action.
The Hammers, after two good results, were looking to climb up the table, but failed to get anything from their game against Liverpool.
Instead, their Goal Difference took a -2 hit and they have 11 points on the board with a -12 GD.

Leeds have the same points and GD, but have scored two goals fewer than the Hammers, which is why they are in the relegation zone.
However, at the end of 38 gameweeks, Opta predict that Daniel Farke’s side will end up getting relegated from the Premier League.
West Ham, on the other hand, are expected to be in a relegation scrap right until the end, but are predicted to finish three points clear of the drop zone in 17th place.

Does Nuno Espirito Santo need to tweak his system?
Nuno Espirito Santo has played a back three and a back four in recent weeks with varying degrees of success.
The Portuguese manager appears to change his system depending on the opponents rather than what best suits his team.
This could lead to players getting confused about their roles, especially the wing-backs/full-backs and the attacking players.
If this process works, then everyone will wax lyrical over Nuno, but a series of losses could see the pressure mount on the former Wolves boss.
With his current system, Jarrod Bowen does not appear to be thriving and that’s not wise considering that he is the best player on the side.
Keeping a stable shape for a few weeks may lead to success down the road for the Hammers.
