Manager Mikel Arteta cited injuries as an excuse after the game, and the fact that William Saliba had to pull out a day before the match didn’t help matters.
However, the Gunners’ performance was pretty flat regardless, and a point is probably just about what they deserved, despite the one-man advantage.
