Former Chelsea attacker Noni Madueke was public enemy number one when he was brought on off the bench to try and get a result for the Gunners at Stamford Bridge.
After two and a half seasons in West London, Madueke decided it was time for a change and made the switch across the capital during the Club World Cup.
It has not taken Chelsea fans long to forget about the England international. Estevao Willian has instantly helped raise the levels on the right of attack.
After a hostile reception met the winger upon his arrival to proceedings, Enzo Fernandez made sure to add to Madueke’s woes with a fierce challenge, as well as celebration right in his face.

Reece James approached Noni Madueke at full-time of Chelsea vs Arsenal
Despite not being a popular figure inside the ground on Sunday, it seems he has not cut all ties with Chelsea players since his pretty rapid exit from the club.
As seen on a TikTok from ‘Bobby67’, Reece James approached Madueke at full-time to embrace him, with the pair sharing a moment alongside Malo Gusto.
James was coming off a Man of the Match display in midfield, where he somehow became the winner of the midfield debate between Moises Caicedo and Declan Rice.

The performance comes at a cost though. James won’t start against Leeds after Maresca admitted he still needs to protect the club captain.

James and Madueke set to feature together again soon
Both James and Madueke are set to be named in Thomas Tuchel’s World Cup squad, with the Chelsea man clearly the first choice option at right-back.
His former club teammate has impressed when given the chance by Tuchel too, and could be used as the deputy to Bukayo Saka on the right for England.
This could see the duo linking up nicely going forwards, with Madueke’s desire to come inside opening up space for James.
It is clear that they will want to stay on good terms despite Chelsea fans’ disdain for Madueke, who didn’t leave the club with any ill-will on either side.
