Kostas Tsimikas is currently on loan at AS Roma, and there is a chance he never returns to Liverpool.
The Reds had a big overhaul in the summer that saw many players join, but also a good amount departed both permanently and temporarily.

Tsimikas falls into the latter category, or at least that was the original plan, but he might be on his way out of Liverpool very shortly.
Despite underwhelming at Roma this season, the Greek international may have just hinted that he will never play for Liverpool again, with his emotional message perhaps having a powerful meaning behind it.

At one point over the summer, the Reds had three left-backs at the club, which is why Tsimikas was sent out on loan.
With Andy Robertson out of contract in the summer, though, there was always a chance he would come back and play second fiddle to Milos Kerkez, but that might now have changed.
Tsimikas himself has been very open about his future, but above all, he has clearly highlighted just how much his time at the club has meant to him.

“I miss the city. I lived there for five years. I love everything in Liverpool,” he told The Athletic.
“They have a special part of my heart. The people are very kind, some of the kindest I’ve ever met in football.
“They’d always try to support the team, in good, in bad, they would always do their best to try to help you.
“I want everything for this club, because from day one, I was fully committed there. I was the Greek Scouser, and I always will be, I’ll keep it for my whole life.”
Kostas Tsimikas has hinted that he might have to leave Liverpool
Despite admitting his love for the club, he also mentioned about what his next goals are in his career, with it safe to say that he has big ambitions.
However, achieving them at Liverpool might be hard, which is why he might have hinted that he needs to move on if he is to achieve them.
“The most important thing for me is to be healthy, to train hard, to play more games,” he said.
“Next year is a different story for me. I want to be successful, I want to win things. Only God knows what will happen in the next year.”
Playing more games seems near-impossible at Liverpool, however, given that he will never be the out-and-out first choice, with the best he is going to get being rotating with Kerkez.
But there is also still a chance Robertson signs a new deal, and if he does, then the Greek full-back will almost certainly never play for the Reds again.
