Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey should be in with an excellent chance of making his first Premier League start of the season in Wednesday's clash with champions Liverpool at Anfield.
The 23-year-old proved his prowess as a super sub yet again on Saturday, popping up with a second-half winner to complete a tremendous 3-2 comeback win over Bournemouth at the Stadium of Light.
Brobbey has now registered two goals and one assist from his last five Premier League appearances off the bench, while Wilson Isidor did not score or set up a goal in any of his four league games in November.
As a result, Regis Le Bris may place his faith in Brobbey from the first whistle on Wednesday, when the Sunderland boss could also consider a system switch to a five-man defence against the holders.
If so, Bertrand Traore and Brobbey could operate as the forward pairing, with Enzo Le Fee operating just behind them as Chemsdine Talbi drops out of the starting lineup.
Granit Xhaka and Noah Sadiki are nailed on in midfield while Habib Diarra recovers from a groin injury, while Lutsharel Geertruida will re-join the backline if Le Bris opts for a more defensive formula.
Nordi Mukiele, Dan Ballard, Reinildo Mandava and Omar Alderete should all be guarantees ahead of Robin Roefs, who made four crucial saves in Sunderland's Saturday success.
Sunderland possible starting lineup:
Roefs; Mukiele, Geertruida, Ballard, Alderete, Reinildo; Xhaka, Sadiki; Le Fee; Traore, Brobbey
