“Kevin Durant enters December needing 480 points to pass Wilt Chamberlain (31,419) and claim the No. 7 spot on the all-time scoring list,” the official NBA website reported.

“Durant has 2,215 career 3-pointers, good enough for No. 13 on the all-time list. He needs four more to reach 12th, 65 more after that to get to the 11th spot, and nine more after that to make it into the Top 10. In terms of field goals made, Durant needs 82 more this month to pass Hakeem Olajuwon for No. 10 in that category.

Durant is averaging 24.6 points per game. He makes 8.4 field goals per game, averaging nearly two made threes a game as well. All these records are set to be broken, meaning KD will be Top 10 all-time in nearly every meaningful scoring category.
