Tonight, the Los Angeles Lakers played the Phoenix Suns at Crypto.com Arena, the first matchup between these two teams.
It wasn't a pretty showing for LA as Phoenix was keen on forcing turnover after turnover and capitalizing in transition scoring. You can’t really blame Los Angeles, though.
The Lakers are playing on the second night of a back-to-back after dismantling the New Orleans Pelicans 133-121. In this game, LeBron James took a night to rest as he’s still recovering from a right sciatica and a foot injury that’s plagued him for the last few seasons.
On a tough night for the Lakers, LeBron has had an equally challenging night, and that tough night almost resulted in the end of one of the longest-running stats of all time. It would've been the second interesting stat signaling the end for LeBron James in the last week.
