Chelsea will renew one of their oldest rivalries on Wednesday when they make the trip up north to take on Leeds United at Elland Road.
The Blues have held fierce disdain for Leeds since the 1960s, with it culminating in the brutal 1970 FA Cup final, which Chelsea won.

A rivalry which started in the 1960s, the biggest flashpoint came in the 1970 FA Cup final
The Blues have only lost once since 2002 to Leeds, and a win on Wednesday would see them continue to pile the pressure on Arsenal at the top of the table.

Chelsea tipped to win against old enemies Leeds United

Chelsea last took on Leeds in 2024. Despite the game being just last year, six of the Blues starters have already moved on.
Given how tight all the sides in the top half are, a slip up could cost Chelsea multiple places in the league.
Chelsea set to ring the changes against Leeds
The biggest news going into the game is that Moises Caicedo will not be available for selection after being sent off against Arsenal.
The Ecuadorian has been a near ever-present since Maresca took over as manager, and will be a big miss for the Blues in the upcoming games against Leeds, Bournemouth and Everton.

Reece James is also not likely to start after his incredible shift against the Gunners, making it probable that Andrey Santos is handed a rare start for Chelsea.
There is a chance that Cole Palmer returns to the starting side though. He remained an unused substitute against Arsenal as he continues to rebuild his fitness following a long-standing groin problem.
