Arsenal‘seriously considering move’for€80m man – Bundesliga club aware

Last month, Sport1 reported Arsenal are in the picture to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jean-Mattéo Bahoya. They also stated he could leave in the ‘near future’ and the German club want at least €80m.

The Premier League side’s interest in Bahoya is further backed up by Sky Deutschland.

They have a short report on Arsenal interest in the 20-year-old, who arrived at Eintracht Frankfurt from Angers SCO in January 2024.

Since then, the forward has played 2,290 minutes from 59 matches, scoring six goals and contributing five assists. He’s been in and out of the starting lineup this season, starting in six of the 11 league matches.

Despite not being a regular for Eintracht Frankfurt, the France U21 international continues to attract interest from the Premier League. Arsenal have set their sights on the attacker.

It’s claimed Mikel Arteta’s side are ‘seriously considering a move’ to secure the player. The Bundesliga side are well aware of the Gunners’ interest, but Sky states there’s been no negotiations between the clubs so far.

Bahoya has a contract until 2029. Eintracht Frankfurt is said to be looking for €70m if Arsenal or another club want to sign him.

Last month, the fee was set at €80m and it has now lowered to €70m. The price can be further reduced if Bahoya were to push for a transfer.
