Tottenham stance on January loan exit for 38 G/A star revealed amid Everton links

Tottenham are not interested in loaning Richarlison out amid Everton links, as they could potentially consider a sale under certain circumstances.

According to Team Talk, Richarlison’s future remains in doubt at Tottenham ahead of the fast-approaching January window. Spurs are not eager to loan the Brazilian in the winter window, although they could consider a sale amid Everton’s reported interest.

Riucharlison continued to divide opinion among the Tottenham fanbase as he continued to put in polarised displays for the club. Despite joining in the summer of 2023, the forward has only managed 38 goal contributions for the north Londoners, which has been considered underwhelming given how he was at Everton and the fees the club paid to sign him back then.

Despite scoring six times across all competitions this season, there are question marks over his immediate and long-term future at the club. Reports earlier had stated Spurs could assess his future ahead of January, which has come under the scanner amid interest from former side Everton.

Other stories stated Richarlison could be open to making a return to Everton, although there are other clubs angling for his signature. Saudi sides have shown an interest, while there are admirers from his homeland, Brazil.

Tottenham are eager to sign a striker and winger, and should they find the former, they could potentially consider Richarlison’s exit in January. However, Spurs are not interested in sending the Brazilian out on loan, as they might only consider selling him for the right price, to bring in a replacement in the January window.

Will Richarlison leave Tottenham in January?

For now, Richarlison continues to start games for Spurs, but that might change as there’s competition for places from on-loan star Randal Kolo Muani and the injured Dominic Solanke. Of late, Thomas Frank has tried to include two strikers on the pitch, which might be bad news for the Brazilian once Solanke returns to fitness.

A right offer could test Tottenham’s resolve, as Everton could angle for a move in the winter window. It remains to be seen whether the Toffees or someone else can cough up what Spurs want in return for the Brazilian’s sale, as a loan move is potentially ruled out as things stand.
