Darwin Nunez left Liverpool for Saudi club Al-Hilal at the start of August, but the striker is already reported to be seeking a move – and has been offered elsewhere.
Nunez departed Anfield after three hit-and-miss seasons in the summer, joining Al-Hilal in a deal worth an initial £46 million.
But after just four months and 11 appearances for the Saudi Pro League side, it is claimed that the Uruguayan is unhappy and seeking another transfer.

Argentine newspaper Ole reports that Nunez has already been offered to River Plate as he “intends to leave Al-Hilal.”
However as it stands there has been no progress regarding a possible switch beyond that early contact, likely due to the finances involved in any deal.
To that end it is explained that approaches were made over loans for Zenit Saint Petersburg’s Luciano Gondou and Man City‘s Claudio Echeverri, the latter of whom is spending the season at Bayer Leverkusen.
Nunez is the fourth-biggest signing in Al-Hilal’s short history as a destination for top players and there would be little chance of him moving on the cheap.

The 26-year-old has scored five goals and laid on two assists in his 11 games for Simone Inzaghi’s side but was brought off with an injury in his most recent outing against Al-Fateh in the King’s Cup.
He shared a cryptic post on X last week, with the word “resiliencia” one familiar to Liverpool supporters from his internal struggles at Anfield.
While it remains unclear if Nunez is genuinely pushing to leave Saudi Arabia, it seems unlikely that Ole would make such unsubstantiated claims over River Plate’s contact.

If he were to move so quickly it would affect any further payments to Liverpool, with a number of add-ons negotiated into their agreement with Al-Hilal.
The deal was worth an initial £46 million plus around £10 million in various bonuses related to appearances and performance, of which few if any will have been reached so far.
Nunez scored on his unofficial debut for Al-Hilal days after his arrival, before writing a farewell message to the Premier League champions, which read: “Thank you, Liverpool.
“Three years on, it’s time to say goodbye. I’ll take with me countless memories that will live with me forever.

“I leave with a full heart, thanks to the love of a crowd that never let me down and always had my back – through the highs and through the lows.
“Liverpool will always be part of who I am. I’ll miss you more than words can say.
“To all the staff and my teammates – thank you and all the very best for the future. YNWA.”
