Eintracht Frankfurt are aware of Arsenal’s interest in Jean-Matteo Bahoya, according to reports in the German media.
Sky Sport Deutschland have claimed that the Gunners have already “informed” Frankfurt that they are keen on signing the 20-year-old.

While Mikel Arteta’s side have yet to make a concrete offer for Bahoya, they have been given a potential price tag.
Sky report that Frankfurt will demand a fee of around €70m (£61.6m) for the Frenchman if a bid is tabled either in January or at the end of the season.
Bahoya could replace Trossard
While Leandro Trossard has been in excellent form for Arsenal in recent months, he is now 30 years of age, and he will have just twelve months left on his contract next summer.
There is a case for selling the Belgian international when this campaign is over. Trossard might want to stay and sign an extension, but there would be concerns about handing him a fresh deal, considering how old he is.
What do Arsenal fans need to know about Bahoya?
The France Under 21 international is a left winger by trade, preferring to cut in from the flank onto his stronger right foot.
Bahoya has actually been on the Gunners’ radar for several years, having been first scouted during his time at Angers, but he moved to Frankfurt for €8m at the beginning of 2024.
Since then, the forward has scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists in 59 appearances. He is not a regular starter at the moment, with head coach Dino Toppmoller having only started him in 6 of the first 12 league games this season. For that reason, Frankfurt would consider a sale under the right circumstances, although it seems they are still holding out for a pretty high asking price.
