Voting is now open for our Women's Player of the Month for November 2025, with Steph Catley, Alessia Russo, Stina Blackstenius and Mariona Caldentey up for this month's award.
We picked up two wins and two draws last month, and all of the nominees had a key part to play in a month that was full of big games.
### steph catley
In the absence of Kim Little and Leah Williamson, Steph captained us for four of our five games in November, including two Champions League games and two London derbies.
Our Australian defender delivered one of her best performances of the season in our 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Emirates Stadium, playing a crucial part in keeping us within a goal of the Blues before our late equaliser.
Steph also made a number of decisive interventions in our north London derby encounter with Tottenham, helping us keep a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw at Brisbane Road.
### alessia russo
Alessia maintained her fine form in front of goal throughout November, scoring four goals and registering an assist to take her tallies to eight goals and two assists in 13 appearances this season.
Our no.23 opened the scoring in our 4-1 win away to Leicester City and set up an own goal to double our lead, before scoring a brilliant volley to secure a 1-1 draw with Chelsea the following weekend.
After her crucial goals in the WSL, Alessia continued her form into the Champions League, scoring both the equaliser and the winner in our 2-1 success against Real Madrid at Mangata Developments Stadium.
### stina blackstenius
Stina started the month with a bang, scoring two fantastic goals against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in our emphatic 4-1 win.
As well as her well-taken goals, Stina also set up the opening goal for her strike partner Alessia, earning our Swedish striker the Player of the Match award in the first game of the month.
Stina then featured in all four games that followed in November, helping us to a derby draw at Spurs and Champions League success over Real Madrid, as well as setting up Mariona Caldentey's goal in our 3-2 defeat to Bayern Munich.
### mariona caldentey
Mariona continued to impress in midfield throughout the month, playing as both an attacking and central midfielder as and when required.
As well as her excellent overall play in the middle of the pitch, Mariona scored one of the standout goals of November, with a brilliant finish from the edge of the penalty area against Bayern Munich.
Our Spaniard featured in all five games this month, controlling games from midfield and getting her teammates up the pitch on several occasions.
