Aston Villa attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers would definitely be a welcome addition at Chelsea.
Rogers is one of the best young players in the Premier League and has shown that since the beginning of last season.
His form has certainly not gone under the radar, with The Chelsea Chronicle being told in the summer that Chelsea are big admirers of Rogers.

Chelsea cool interest in Morgan Rogers
According to The Athletic, Chelsea have now cooled their interest in Rogers, preferring to target an emerging talent as opposed to an established Premier League star like the 23-year-old.
Their decision comes after Rogers’ contract extension, which could have made doing a deal difficult.
Troy Deeney has been quite critical of Rogers despite naming him in his Premier League Team of the Week for matchweek 12.
The former Watford striker claimed that Chelsea’s summer interest in Rogers had distracted the England international.
While the Blues may no longer have Rogers on their shortlist, he is still likely to be of interest to other clubs given his talent.

Chelsea could regret not making move for Morgan Rogers in 2026
Chelsea’s attack is in great shape, but it could do with another No.10 like Rogers.
Facundo Buonanotte has not done much at Stamford Bridge since arriving during the previous transfer window and is likely to return to Brighton & Hove Albion at the end of the season.
It means Joao Pedro could end up being the only real alternative to Cole Palmer in the No.10 position, and he also has to play some games up front.
Rogers would be a very expensive back-up option, but he can also start out wide so still would likely have had plenty of opportunities to play. A move is not going to happen, though, by the looks of things.
Chelsea will probably stick with what they have got or make another attempt to sign Barcelona’s Fermin Lopez.
