With the January transfer window now just weeks away, clubs across the Premier League are ramping up their scouting efforts in search of fresh talent.

According to Danish outlet Indkast, scouts from Liverpool, Everton, West Ham United, AFC Bournemouth and Burnley were all present at the MCH Arena on Sunday to watch FC Midtjylland’s commanding 6-0 victory over FC Nordsjælland in the Superliga.

Representatives from Bayern Munich and the City Football Group were also reportedly in attendance.

Everton have been tracking FC Midtjylland striker Franculino Djú for most of the season, with the Toffees keen on finding a reliable goalscorer

The 21-year-old Guinea-Bissau international, a product of Benfica’s youth academy, has been in sensational form this campaign – registering 19 goals and three assists in 28 appearances across all competitions.

Midtjylland are reportedly demanding around €35 million for the forward, a fee that would smash the Danish Superliga’s transfer record. Liverpool could also have been taking a look at him during Sunday’s clash.

Also impressing in the 6-0 rout was Aral Şimşir, the 23-year-old Turkish-Danish midfielder who grabbed a goal and an assist on the night.

A technically gifted left winger, Şimşir came through Midtjylland’s academy and is under contract until 2029.

It is rare that there are so many sales objects on the pitch in the Superliga, as when FC Midtjylland and FC Nordsjælland clash in the Superliga.

Reporter Oliver Otte Okstrøm reveals:

“On Sunday, the two talent-packed teams had a number of big clubs’ scouts in place at the MCH Arena, which we here at Indkast.dk can bring.”

“First of all, it is worth noting that both Liverpool and Bayern Munich, who must be said to be among the biggest clubs in Europe, were in place for the clash.”

“In addition, the City Football Group, which has clubs such as Manchester City and Girona under its umbrella, was also present for the match.”

Meanwhile, another Danish outlet in Campo reports a similar tune and suggest that Liverpool could have been watching all of Darío Osorio, Aral Simsir and Ousmane Diao.

They add that Liverpool scouts are regularly at FC Midtjylland games.
